Lightbulb More Storage Options

Well, the Materials tab definately took some strain off my storage space-but thats not enough -4 convenience i think Anet should give people more Items storage space by purchasing different campaigns -- for example..the space we hav rite now would be 1 campaign I.E Prophecies..if Factions was added to that person's campaigns it would mean he/she will encounter different/better/cooler drops and will need to store them somwhere aswell- so the storage limit for items will be increased by -let's say 15 slots and the total materials limit for each material increased by 125..if he/she had all 3 rite now that would b the core amount of item slots +30..and a materials limit of 500 each. I think this is the fairest way to do things and after all - this does encourage ppl to buy more campaigns helping Anet develop more and + in total i already paid $90 for Prophecies and Factions (nightfall 2 be added) i expect to get something for it (apart from the game ) plz post ur views on this idea- or just agree with me
l8r 4 now- im off sellin Yuletides 2k each @ Shing jea >

I agree that something need to be done about storage.

Im not exactly sure why you would expect it. You sound like its owed to you.

I am happy with what I got for my money but I would like to see additional storage. If it happens great. If it doesnt im not going to feel ripped off.

i was a little bitter when i saw when factions came out, a new account (unmerged) would have two storages, which is perfect logic. but when you merge your accounts, all your doing is adding content. i thought my storage would recieve a "Tab" much like the guild/hero windows, one tab for prophasies, and receive another tab of storage when you merged factions. now its just items/materials. so on that note i agree, but it never happend. the extra char slot upgrade though has relieved much stress with storage, i created two mules with the upgrades.

I'd quite happily settle for the option to place a 10 slot bag into each of the storage slots.

yeahhhhhh it would be nice iff you can drag a full bag i storage.
And that you can select the bag and look in to it.
And so far for a dye/rune storage why need it just buy it when you need it.
I look @ a dye storage as nonsence.
I think most people are just showing off by saying look @ me i have 50 of each color. ^^ *sarcasm*

Well, I have never seen this bright idea posted in this forums. Where did you come up with it???
First let me introduce you to the amazing "Trading" procedures that can be done and it can actually make your number of items in stock lower! If you have ever played Diablo it makes the Guild Wars storage space look like it does need to be bigger. I wouldn't be surprised if you played Diablo. But, if you want to trade an item simply just type "WTS [Willing To Sell] -----[Whatever item you wish to sell] then state a price. Then when someone gives you a private message in the game you can type their name into the party list (The same list you use when you want to do a mission or a quest) and then double click on the invited user name and, just like magic, your character will approach the person who you want to trade's character. Then you have to hit the trade button (It is found on the top of the screen) by the players user name. Then, when you have sold your item you will notice that you have less items and more gold. Then perhaps when you are done with an item you can have some gold to sell it and buy a better one by repeating the procedures explained earlier in this post. Amazing huh?

"I would want unlimited cash storage, that would solve 99% of my problems."
Yes, then if this was done gold selling on ebay would be so much easier to do.
Thanks for the idea, you should make your own thread on it.

This is the third post I read from the same poster in that same patronizing tone and ending in that same sarcastic "Amazing huh?".....

Go look up what a "pack rat" means. Not everyone wants to sell everything they have. The whole reason why people keep asking for more storage is because they want to keep more stuffs. You do understand the difference between "more storage to put stuff in" and "don't know how to get rid of items" right?

For Dwayna's sake! No! What you need all that storage for? (I don't even wann know actually, cus it'll lead to nothing) They gave you material storage, they gave you the ability to reproduce hats, just talk to the merchant some more times. He won't bite. Seriously. And what the hootie do you need inscription storage for? Are you holding on to 10 inscriptions or something for nothing? Not to mention this is something that has been proposed in many, many, MANY threads and has been bashed and encored by several.

Special Rewards: In the tradition of the season, you'll receive special headgear during the Wintersday finale. And even better, you'll get a new means of storing it, as well.

Maybe its just hats, in that case, meh.

Read: you can delete most of your special headgear and get it back by talking to one guy only.
New means of storing doesn't mean storage slots or something.

New means of storing doesn't mean storage slots or something.
Read: You get the better means of storing it on the wintersday finale. It hasnt happened yet. The hat NPC is only there for the duration of wintersday im sure. And he isnt anything to do with storing. He just copies the hats across characters on your account.

No... it says you'll get new headgear on the finale. It's misleading. The storage for the holiday headgear is the Crafter.
